All 36 units in the Class 376 fleet are getting a full mid-life refresh.
Includes fully refurbished seating, handy at-seat power points and accessibility improvements for better journeys plus a sleek, new blue livery.
The upgrade is part of South Eastern Railway’s wider fleet improvement programme that covers a £27million refurbishment of the Class 395 highspeed ‘Javelins’, the arrival of 13 newer Class 377s and the ongoing procurement for a more accessible replacement Metro fleet.
