    Do you need a seat on the train, but don’t want to ask someone else to give up their seat? Southeastern has already issued hundreds of Priority Seating Cards – but wants as many as possible of its passengers who have a need for a card to apply for one.

    Southeastern introduces Ticket Machine Price Guarantee

    On March 21, Southeastern introduced a Ticket Machine Price Guarantee, which means that, if you purchase a ticket from one of our ticket vending machines (TVMs), but find that you’re then able to find the same ticket elsewhere for a lower price, we’ll refund the difference.

    Disruption at Lewisham - Friday 2 March

    • We'd like to apologise to passengers delayed on Friday 2 March, especially those stranded on crowded trains
    • Severe weather and ice affected the power supply to our trains, and these delays were compounded by passengers evacuating trains onto the tracks, against the advice of railway staff and the Police
    • Southeastern and Network Rail will be launching an independently-chaired investigation
    • We want to hear from passengers who were on the stranded trains, and will be providing additional compensation

    Normal timetable resumes from Monday 5 March

    • Southeastern to resume normal weekday timetable on Monday 5 March, after a week of extreme weather
    • Many of our trains have been damaged by the icy conditions last week
    • For a few days, some services will be formed of fewer carriages than usual, some will be formed of different train types, and there may be some short-notice cancellations
    • We advise passengers to check before they travel
    • Any passengers affected by delays between Tuesday 27 February and Friday 2 March can receive double the normal value of Delay Repay compensation
