    Improved Southeastern timetable launches on 2 June

    • The changes will mean less waiting time on platforms, improved punctuality, and more space on the busiest services. 
    • New timetable designed based on journey data and feedback from customers to provide a better, more reliable, and sustainable railway.

    Southeastern announces major step towards multi-million-pound improvement in Metro train fleet

    • Southeastern is inviting the rail industry to provide new or upgraded trains for Metro services.
    • Current fleet provides more than 900 services and tens of thousands of journeys every day between parts of Kent and south-east and central London.
    • This could be the largest investment in the Southeastern network since the introduction of the highspeed service in 2009.

    New secure cycle hub opens at Swanley station

    • The facility holds up to 56 bikes and has electric charging points, a tyre pump and a cycle repair stand.
    • Part of Southeastern's work to become more sustainable by making it easier for customers to cycle to the station.
    • 29 bike hubs are now open across the Southeastern network.

    Southeastern running an extremely limited service during strike action on 7 May

    ASLEF strike action on Tuesday 7 May will severely impact Southeastern services.

    Most routes and stations will be closed and there are no replacement buses.

    Customers asked to only travel if absolutely necessary as there will be severe disruption, queues and extended journey times.
