People using the Medway Valley line between Paddock Wood and Strood are being asked to plan ahead and check before they travel when Network Rail engineers undertake work on the railway to protect it against landslips.

- People are still advised to change travel plans to help reduce road congestion.
- Bridge repairs will take place between 22:00 on Friday 25 October and 05:00 on Sunday 3 November

15 Oct 2024Southeastern unveils updated timetable from December with an extra 220 services per week
- Enhanced Southeastern timetable starts on Sunday 15 December with an extra 44 services per weekday, totalling 220 per week.
- This includes the introduction of 12 additional Cannon Street ‘Rounder’ services at peak times on the Woolwich and Sidcup lines.
- Also adds more off-peak trains between Victoria and Orpington via Herne Hill to offer a full ‘turn up and go’ Metro service.
