South East Alliance release: A scheme to improve the accessibility of Shortlands station in south east London has now been completed with the opening of three new lifts.

• First upgraded train featuring new blue livery and energy-efficient LED lighting enters passenger service.
• New livery and improved lighting are stage one of a multi-million refurbishment of the fleet that includes at-seat power supply and refurbished seating throughout.
• The first train with the full refresh is scheduled to be ready by the end of the year. -
