The Great British Rail Sale: Save up to 50% off Travel with Southeastern: Canterbury-6

  • Tickets are available on selected journeys across the Southeastern, subject to availability, for travel between 25 April – 27 May 2022
  • Tickets go on sale from 19 April and the offer runs until 2 May 2022.

Southeastern are taking part in the national Great British Rail Sale, from the 19 April thousands of Advance tickets will be available at up to 50% off. 

There are so many great place to explore in Kent, London and East Sussex. Enjoy a day at the seaside, discover rolling hills and countryside, explore cathedrals and castles, or visit the many attractions and sights of London. 

You can take advantage of the offer as many times as you like, giving you more chances to get out and about and explore.  Promotional tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis so hurry!

London to Margate 

Just 90 minutes by Southeastern high speed train from St Pancras International, Margate is a traditional seaside town, perfect for a day out whatever time of year. As soon as you exit the station, you can see the wide sandy beach and smell the sea air. Enjoy fish and chips, retro amusements at Dreamland, vintage and independent shops plus a large dollop of art and culture thanks to Turner Contemporary.

London to Canterbury 

Canterbury is a beautiful city packed full of history. Wander its narrow, cobbled streets, explore the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site cathedral or take a boat trip on the River Stour and explore the city’s hidden secrets. Canterbury West station is just 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre.

London to Whitstable 

Famous for its oysters, Whitstable is a small town with a thriving arts community and is one of Kent’s most picturesque towns. Whitstable is 1 hour and 15 minutes from St Pancras International by high speed train.

Great British Rail Sale Advance tickets are limited and subject to availability and exclusions. Book between 10.00 on 19 April 2022 and 23.59 on 02 May 2022 (the “Promotional Period” for travel between 25 April 2022 and 27 May 2022 (the “Travel Period”).  Tickets must be purchased a minimum of one day in advance of the date of travel.  These promotional tickets are not available on all routes. Prices are based on tickets to/from any Southeastern London Terminal for the high speed services. Prices are based on tickets to/from any Southeastern London Terminal excluding St Pancras International for services not including high speed.
