Southeastern has unveiled a special highspeed Class 395 train to celebrate the Armed Forces and all those who have served this Remembrance Day.
395018 has been decorated with a striking poppy-themed livery on the front and rear driving coaches.
The train was revealed today (October 30) at London St Pancras International on London Poppy Day, which sees Royal British Legion volunteers collect donations across 70 mainline and underground stations in the capital.
The design proudly incorporates the Armed Forces Covenant, signed by Southeastern in 2022, reaffirming the company’s commitment to being a forces-friendly employer.
Members of Southeastern’s Armed Forces Network, also established in 2022, attended the unveiling in full dress uniform alongside Royal British Legion volunteers.
Alex South, Southeastern’s Head of Human Resources said:
“At Southeastern we are proud to celebrate the legacy of the Armed Forces past and present, and we continue our longstanding support of the Armed Forces community including Regulars, Reservists, Cadet Forces, Veterans and their families.”
The train will operate on the highspeed route to and from London St Pancras International.
