Southeastern has been recognised as one of the UK's best employers for apprentices as it continues a huge recruitment drive.
It's the highest ranked train operator on the Department for Education's Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer List, which is judged based on the number of new apprentices, diversity among recruits and pass rates.
More than 620 people have completed apprenticeships at Southeastern since 2018 in a range of roles, from train drivers and conductors to engineers and data analysts.
Southeastern is ranked 58th on the list, up 10 places on last year.
Sarah Jones, Southeastern's Apprenticeship Manager, said:
"We're incredibly proud to have been recognised as one of the UK's top apprenticeship employers.
"It demonstrates Southeastern's commitment to improving social mobility by developing our workforce, as well as giving opportunities for new people to join us.
"Apprenticeships are a great way of developing skills and we are looking for great people, who are eager to learn and want to help us build a better, more reliable and sustainable railway".
Southeastern expects to enrol 412 apprentices this year, and its biggest ever recruitment drive is under way across south-east London, Kent and East Sussex.
