Strike action is taking place on the Southeastern network on Friday 12 May and Saturday 13 May.
On Friday 12 May:
- There’ll no trains running and no replacement buses – customers won’t be able to travel on these dates. There’ll also be no Thameslink or Southern services running on the Southeastern network.
On Saturday 13 May:
- There’ll be a limited service running on our network and some routes will be closed. Please check before you travel.
- If you are travelling across Southeastern or other networks expect some disruption, plan ahead and check your entire journey
- Trains that are running will be busier and are likely to start later and finish earlier.
- You may be unable to board trains at stations where a limited service is running, especially on the first few trains in the morning. Queuing systems are in place at some stations to ensure that trains have enough room onboard for customers to join all along the route. This is continually under review.
- Only 58 out of 180 stations will be open. No replacement buses will serve stations that are closed. For alternative transport options visit traveline.
- Timetables are available on our website at [https://www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/strike-action] and in online journey planners.
Further strike action has been announced for the coming weeks.
Scott Brightwell, Southeastern’s Operations and Safety Director said:
“If this strike action goes ahead, we’re sorry to say there’ll be no Southeastern train services at all on any routes on the Friday, and a limited service on other routes on the Saturday.
“Please check before you travel. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this strike action will cause you.”
Timetables for strike days are available on the Southeastern website, and online journey planners have been updated.
